Energy 101 is designed for new energy managers and other new energy and environmental professionals who are relatively new to the field and want an overall introduction to energy management and energy management resources. |

Linda Mesaros Linda Mesaros has vast experience in the environmental, energy, and procurement areas. She served as Deputy of the Office of the Environmental Executive (OFEE). Ms. Mesaros also served as the Chief of Staff of the White House Task Force on Waste Prevention, Recycling, and Federal Acquisition. Ms. Mesaros led the federal government's efforts in the implementation of Executive Order 13101, Greening the Government Through Recycling, Waste Prevention, and Federal Acquisition. Ms. Mesaros formerly served as Deputy Administrator for Procurement Innovation at the Office of Management and Budget’s Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP). In this position, she provided procurement policy leadership and management direction for the entire Federal government on energy, environmental, electronic commerce, small business, and performance-based service contracting initiatives.
Ms. Mesaros is President of Mesaros Associates Inc. a woman-owned small business that specializes in environmental, energy, and contracting consulting services for the Federal government. Most recently, Ms. Mesaros has been actively involved in sustainability efforts and sustainable acquisition within the federal government where she currently supports both the Department of Energy, the Department of Agriculture, and the Department of State.
